Replacement balances MW windows

Quick Learner from 29466

Please see attached pictures. I could not find a single balance still functional and measuring process seems unique for these. Please see attached pictures for assistance in sizing for your product.

This is for single hung windows with a lower sash height of 30 inches.

Thank you

This is an old crossbow balance. They're not made anymore, but you can use our Series 795 as a replacement. The process is a little complex so I recommend watching the guide below for more information.

Measuring the length is a bit awkward, but you definitely need an undamaged version of this to determine the proper size. If you can't find any working balance in your house, then please give me the height of the visible glass and we can try to calculate the proper size.

Thank you. No luck.
Lower windows are 30.25 high, glass 27.25 high.
Windows seem 36 wide by 61 high for the frames.
Full extension from mounting to lower window rod seems to be 59 inches.

Thanks! Based on the visible glass height of 27-1/4", I recommend the S795-28 channel balance. Looking at your old photos, you'll also need a 26-200 screw plug and 33-090 installation screw, as well as either a 26-021 or 26-336 pivot bar.

I'm not sure if you also needed those top sash guides, but see our 26-243 and 26-244 to start out. I think these may work for you.

Since you have the larger bodied pivot bar, our 26-366 is our best option. However your pin looks a little longer than normal. Our pivot bar may not fit properly in your window while still interacting with the balance. It may be necessary to drill new installation holes.

Ok. I have included a picture of my window stud. Hard to figure out since you have so many. Please let me know ASAP which of these I need and I can complete my order same day.

Thank you
