Window is aluminum and is apx 25years old.

Has stamped marking: B.S.L. 2590, 28.

Need replacements for vertical non-tilting window.

We can help but I'm afraid the tape measure is obscuring your top fitting which is a crucial detail. Can you show us a clearer view of the top fitting?

Thank you, Bobby! This is just what I needed. Based on what you show here, I recommend our S380-26 or S385-26 channel balance. Allow me to go over the difference. The Series 380 has a 1" deep shoe and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep shoe. You'll just need to measure as shown in the image below to see which one matches best.

Your 2590 stamp doesn't match any of our strength options, however. The "28" at the end of the stamp may indicate the sash weight which means you can go with either the 2550 option for a sash weighing 25 to 28 pounds, or 2560 for a sash weighing 28 to 30 pounds. I recommend weighing your sash on a scale to confirm.
