Replacement counterbalances.

They seem to have a coil of flat metal that unrolls with the window movement. I can't find a manufacturer name, or model number anywhere.

Hello there. This is a coil balance system. All these parts are sold separately. The pivot shoe is the 15-177. We carry a newer version of the housing: the 15-143, 15-144 and 15-145 components 'sandwich' around each individual coil spring. Finally, for the coil balances, see the Series 152. Let me know if you have any questions about any of this hardware.

Thank you for your quick reply. So if I want to replace all of the componenents in an individual window, what parts should I buy?

You would buy the parts I suggested above, but for each balance assembly already in the window. You always want to replace these in pairs anyway. If you replace the balance on one side of a window you should always replace the other at the same time.
