Replacement double hook mortise lock

Question

Hello, I need to replace a double latch mortise lock on my sliding glass door. I have identified your multi-point mortise latch 82-259 as the most likely replacement part. However, I am concerned the 3/4" width is far wider than my approximately 1/2" opening for the replacement part. Please see attached photos. Thank you.

Hi Nick. Not to worry, the 82-259 actually has a width of 9/16", which is very close to your measurement. The dimension you're referring to shown on the product page is actually the width of the keeper that comes with the 82-259. Let me know if you have any other questions.
