I have a lock for a patio door that has broken. I'm looking for a replacement. It is for a Jeld-Wen wood door. It has a dual locking mechanism and is 12.5" tall. The only marking on it is a patent number: PAT #:6.264.252

Based on that information and the dimension you provided, I believe you may need the 82-260 Multi-Point Mortise Lock with Pocket Plate. This mortise lock has a total measurement of 12-1/2" and an installation hole spacing of 12".
Take a look over the dimensions and design. Carefully compare them to your existing lock to confirm if this is the right replacement. If not, I'll need to see a photo of your existing lock.
