Replacement for pivot shoe and balance

A handy person from Minneapolis, MN says:

Hello,

I have double hung wood window. Plastic Piece (foot?) that connects window to sash balancer spring has broken. Looking for options/path to easiest repair. Photos of (intact) piece attached as well as vinyl jamb that sash balancer spring resides in.

No idea on window manufacturer, but house was built in 1992

Dimensions on piece are:

2 1/4" in length

Jamb channel is 1/4" so thinking back of piece is about 5/8"

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

Hi- thanks so much for posting!

The shoe looks like our 15-104 Caradco Friction Shoe

We cannot replace the springs or the jamb liners. If you need either of those, you'll need to contact a local mill work for assistance .
