Hi there... I am having trouble finding a replacement door handle and lock. The existing lock works but the key is so small and it is so tight to the right side when locking or unlocking that it is extremely difficult to open or lock the door. Door width is 1 1/8 inch. The spacing of securing screws is 3-15/16. When I search your website I come up with 82-086 white as a potential replacement but I am not sure about it... when I watch the legacy install video there is just a hole on our door as you can see in last photo IMG_0901.jpg with a rotating door clasp (proper name?). This is different than on the legacy install video. What I like about the setup of the 82-086 is how the key entry is raised and the key is larger which will make use easier in our situation . Thank you in advance.

Thanks for posting. Unfortunately the 82-086 only works with specific mortise locks. Your handle set uses a much smaller latch piece that it is incompatible with. I believe your handle set is our 82-003. You could just replace the outside pull with the Keyed 82-306; you'll need to ensure you cut the tailpiece of the key lock down to the right size for it to work. You also might want to remove the existing handle set and check the latch in the door for damage; if it is in any way, you'd probably be best off getting a new 82-003 along with the 82-306. Let me know if you have further questions about any of this hardware.
