Replacement metal piece shown in the photo

A quick learner from Menlo Park, CA says:
I'm looking for the long metal piece that is shown in one photo and missing from the other. Is it best to just replace the window at this stage? The window won't stay open without it. Thanks!

Hi there!

You definitely don't need to replace the window if your pivot shoe and pivot bar are the culprit. I suspect you may have our 15-177 that uses the Series 152 coil springs but compare our specifications with yours to see if this matches up. We can help with the pivot bar but we'll need to see an undamaged version removed from the window to compare to our inventory.
