Replacement of Window Balances

Question

I have 6 windows I am needing to replace the balances on, upper and lower on both sides of windows. The upper balances are 24 inches, lower are 22 inches. I have one window that will need both lowers balances replaced, it is 14 inches.

Thanks for writing in! The balances you have are an older version of our Series 795 Channel Balance. According the lengths of your balances you'll need the S795-14, S795-22, and the S795-24. Each of these balances comes assembled with the 15-195 1-1/4" T-Lock Balance Shoe with a closed cam.

In regard to the stamp options for each balance, the only one I can see from the photos is the 14C stamp for the S795-14. You'll need to double check the metal channel for the 22" and 24" balances to confirm the stamp option need for those balances. The stamp is what indicates the weight range your balance should be able to carry to support the weight of the sash.
