Hello,
Can the Truth Hardware low profile sash lock be used in place of the Primary casement sash lock?

Also, what is the function of the handleless secondary casement sash lock? How does it work?

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. No, I'm afraid the 38-075 cannot replace the 38-144. The installation hole center spacing differs for each and the keepers are different for them as well.

As for the 38-160, this is a secondary lock so it attaches to a tie bar so that when you flip the first lock, the secondary one without a handle also engages. I hope this helps!
