Thanks for writing in. Can we see pictures of the balance out of the window, especially of any attachments on either end as well as any stamp codes on the metal channel? That would help narrow down what we need. Many thanks.

Thanks for the reply. This looks like a Series 795 Channel Balance. If the metal channel is 30" in length, then you indeed need the S795-30. Look for a stamp code on the metal channel that indicates what stamp option you need. If there is none, or you are uncertain, weigh your window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the stamp options listed on the product page. It looks like you'll need the 15-195B T-Lock Shoe, which you can swap out with the shoe that comes by default with the Series 795 (our 15-195).

Before you order, can you double-check how your balance attaches to the top of the window track? Our standard Series 795 Balances screw-in at the top; however some use a hook instead. If yours uses a hook, let us a see a picture of the hole where that hook inserts, and we'll decide how best to proceed. Many thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me. Then it definitely sounds like you need the S795-30. If your window sash weighs exactly 19 lbs, use the stamp option 30C. You'll need to buy the 15-195B Open Cam T-Lock Shoe separately. To see how you swap this shoe with the one that comes by default with the Series 795, see the video below.
