Replacement part for single hung window

Hi Bill. Check out our S380-35 or S385-35 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. Compare both with your old hardware and see what matches best. You will need a stamp option of 3440.

A quick learner from North Port fl says:

Number stamped on part is 3440. The length of the metal piece is 35". I hope the 3 pics attached will provide enough information to ID the part. (I need2)

Anything you can do will be appreciated.

Thanks for your help

Bill

Thanks Bob. With your help I now know I need 2 S385-35 balances. I want to replace the 2 top sash guides, but I'm not sure of the part, it's either 18-064 or 18-009..... any thoughts? I may order 2 of each if I can't figure out which one I need. The window is 90 miles away.

Thanks again Bob

Hey bill. Glad I can be of help! Unfortunately I can't say for certain with Top Sash Guide you need based on the balance alone, as these can vary quite a bit depending on the window. If your old Top Sash Guide has that general style though, you'll ultimately just have to go over all the dimensions and see which matches best. If you're uncertain, send us 'mugshot' pictures of the front and side of the guide once you get back to the window, and we can help you decide.
