Replacement parts

Handy Person from Wisconsin

Looking to replace the crank on the window — standing inside the kitchen looking out, it is the window on the left-hand side. I also need five replacement sash locks for the left and right windows. I’m not sure which are left-hand and right-hand versions. For reference, the existing hardware appears to be a gold color.

The windows are Hurd windows installed in the house in 1994. I appreciate the help.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for writing in! Your window crank seems to be an older version of the 39-388 Split-Arm Operator. The link arm is connected to the sash using the 39-546 Truth Stud Sash bracket. To determine if this will work for the repair, carefully look over the dimensions and compare them.

The opposite versions of these parts can be found tagged below along with the compatible handles.

The sash locks can both be replaced with the 38-144 Primary Casement Sash Lock. It is a non-handed lock. You'll need the 38-276 and 38-277 sash keepers for the repair; the dimensions for these can be found on the website.
