Replacement sash for anderson windows

A quick learner from Sarasota Florida says:

The sash measures 30" The only Numbers on them are stamped " 28D" For hurricane rated windows. So windows are heavy and roughly 25 lbs with heavy springs in them/ not spiral sashes.

Unable to send compete photos, but if you need them I can send later.

I do know what the plastic ends look like so If you have some part numbers to look at on here I should be able to figure out which one I need. One is a understatement. I need 8 of these for just one room in the house and checked the other windows and need many more to fix them also. Do I get a bulk pricing LOL

I've ordered from you in the past and have replaced spiral sashes you supplied.

Hey Chuck. A few clarifying points:

  • The sash, to be clear, is the term we use to refer tot he movable part of the window with the glass. We can't replace this, but we can replace the mechanisms that help them move and down, the channel balances. These are the components stamped 28D.
  • I'm afraid I can't say for sure what balances you need without seeing the nylon fittings on either end. If the metal channels are 1/2" wide, you might need balances like our S380-29 or S385-29, but I can't be certain. You can see the rest of our non-tilt channel balances here.
