Replacement sliding glass door lock

Question

Hi, I'm looking for the correct door lock replacement for our Schlage SGD- R35 71 x 80 sliding glass doors. The 82-265 looks like it will fit based on measurements if I don't use the white cover plate in photo 1. What is a good replacement lock to fit with 1 3/4 center holes with the 82-265? Or do I need to buy new handles too?

We appreciate you reaching out to us. Based on what I see in these photos, the 82-265 mortise lock should work fine. You can also reuse your old handle set but if you wanted a new one, the 82-086 would be my recommendation. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions.
