Replacement springs

Quick Learner from NC
I just closed a real estate transaction and the seller agreed to replace half the springs. I have to do the other half. Attached is a couple pics of what his contractor installed. I want to do the others on my own. Do the markings on this Chanel look like yours?

Thanks for writing in. I believe we can help you replace these balances, but we're going to need to see one removed from the window, with any end attachments photographed. This helps us identify the right type of series balance you need. The length of the metal channel, not including those end attachments, would also be useful for us to know. Many thanks.

The channel, excluding the tip and shoe, is 30"

In addition to the 7 sets of the 30" spring. I'll also need one set to replace this spring. Each sash is approximately 24" x 24"

The first balance you show looks like our Series 795 channel balance. However, this comes with a 15-095 bottom shoe by default. Yours looks like the smaller 15-194. You'll have to purchase that separately; they just snap on and off.

The second balance you show is an older discontinued version that isn't made anymore. It can be replaced by the Series 795 though. See the video below for detailed instructions how.

I received my order, thanks for all your help! Now the next problem; the feet do not fit the 15-194 shoe. I need to order some new shoes. See pics.

Hello! Thanks for getting back to us. The old pivot bars will not fit into the new shoe. If you look at the video we posted above, we recommend the 26-021.

Thanks again for ordering with us, it means a lot.
