Replacing channel balances

A quick learner from az says:
Need to replace the part shown. Also have similar parts numbered 34-3. The other characters are identical to the part shown in the photo. We need 6 of the 28's and 4 of the 34's.

Thanks for any help you an provide.

Tom from SWISCO responded:
If both balances use the 19-005 top and the 15-001 shoe, then they will both be Series 395. If not, use the channel balance guide to identify which Series your attachments DO match.

The "28" balances should measure 1" longer than the stamped number: 29 inches. Verify this by measuring the metal channel by itself, with no plastic included.

"28" should correspond to the S395-29, and "34" should correspond to the S395-35. The "options" should be 2830 and 3430, respectively. The S395-29 2830 holds 16 to 23 pounds, and the S395-35 3430 holds 18 to 23. You can remove the window sash (the frame and glass that are held up by the balance) to determine how much weight your balances need to hold.
