Replacing hardware question

Hello, I took my hardware out to install a dog door and now I can't find the parts. I purchased 82-030 and 82-226 from you. The mortise was the wrong size by my mistake but will the handle I purchased work on this door? Also, if I replace the correct mortise I saw I need the 9 7/8 but it won't attach to that opening is there a face plate I need to make up the difference is space? If so do you have such plate? The next item I need is where the latches lock into on the wall. What item do I need for that? Thank you very much in advance for the help!

Thanks for posting. The good news is that, yes, the 82-030 should definitely work with this door. If you haven't already, check out our Return Policy here to return the 82-226. As far as the correct mortise lock, you were right that the 82-239 9-7/8" double mortise lock is the correct mechanism, but you do indeed need a version with a face plate. The 82-265 should be what you're looking for. For a keeper that interfaces with this lock, see the 82-249. Let me know if you have further questions!
