Replacing parts

Quick Learner from Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Good morning!

We built the house in 2004. Hopefully you have parts for the old model. There are 4 windows that have problems. There's no number except one that looks like "pat D467490".

Which parts and what kind to buy?

Please let me know if you need more pictures. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Julia. This looks like a Series 795 Channel Balance. By default this balance uses our 15-195 Shoe, which appears to match the T-Lock Shoe your old balance had. Measure the length of the metal channel, not including the shoe, to determine the length you need. Look for a stamp code on the channel to determine the stamp option you need. Finally, your balance seems to use a hook to attach to the window jamb; ours uses a screw clip instead. Please show us the hole in the window track to which that hook attaches to, and that will clue us in as to your best move. Thanks.

Thanks Bob.

Metal channel is 27" long, code 27D B.S.I. OT (picture attached)

The hole is square, about 1/4" (picture attached)

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for getting back to me, that's perfect. You'll need an S795-27, with a stamp option of 27D. Again, the T-Lock Shoe you need comes installed by default with this balance. Also use the 26-200 Screw Plug. This plug will fit in that square hole in the window jamb, and then allow you to screw-on the new balance. Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks for your very prompt response.

So, S795-27, 27D x 8
And
26-200 x 8

For 4 windows are what I should order? Thanks.

Correct! That should be exactly what you need. Again, the 15-195 shoes come by default attached to these balances, so there's no need to order them separately.
