Don't worry too much about how many springs are being used. What matters most is the weight capacity, which is tied to the stamp. You need to pick the stamp that best suits your sash weight. Most times this means it'll have the same amount of springs as the original, sometimes fewer. It doesn't matter either way as long as it holds up the same weight.
