Require additional parts for window balancer

Question

I recently purchased Item #S385-27 (10 window balancers) for a number of Sash windows all the same size installed in KB Homes Development around 2002.

The problem is the balancers are not staying in-place as the plastic stopper held in place by a single screw are broken on the sash so lowering the window does not keep the balancer in place. In addition, a number of windows no longer have the clip in the frame that you can pull out when taking out the window or even the stop blocks.

Do you manufacture the plast stopper for the balancers and the little clip that goes in the windows as well? These are rental properties so u fortunately over the years people have been rough on the windows and discarded any parts that fell out.

Hello,

It sounds like you may be referring to the top sash guide that holds the balance in place below the sash. If so, we may be able to help but we would need to see an undamaged guide removed from one of your windows to compare to our selection here.

As for the take-out clip, you can start by comparing the specifications of the 16-002 shown below to the part used in your windows. Thank you!
