I have an 8ftx8ft aluminum frame dual pane glass door that is very hard to slide open and closed. Attached are pictures of the rollers. I didn't see any identifying markings on the hardware. The dimensions are in the pictures.
What are my options for replacement? Can I upgrade to double roller hardware? The door is so heavy that distributing the load over four rollers seems beneficial.
I look forward to your assistance,
Nathan

Hey, Nathan. I'm afraid I cannot tell from your pictures what the dimensions of your roller are. I need exact dimensions, and it's hard to make out just seeing the ruler held up to the housing. Can you tell me what the exact height and thickness of the housing is? Can you also tell me the exact roller diameter? Thank you!

Sure thing. How accurate do you need the exact measurements...Is within a couple thousandths of an inch needed or is within a 1/16th of an inch good enough. I'm wondering if I need to go buy calipers to measure it or if my tape measure will do.

Measurements in the 1/16" should be good enough, but sometimes the range can get even smaller. For now, let's go with that and see what we can come up with!

Here is a .pdf of the roller, its parts, and their dimensions. Is there a double roller option to replace it with?

Thank you for your patience in this matter, Nathan. Check out our 81-020 and carefully compare the dimensions we show to your own hardware. Could this be a possible match? I think they're pretty close, but see if you agree.
