Product Description

This replacement roller assembly is for sliding glass patio doors and features a metal housing with a steel concave ball-bearing wheel.

Good Idea!

The typical patio sliding glass door uses two roller assemblies, one on each bottom corner of the sliding door. We recommend replacing both sliding door rollers at the same time to prevent extra wear-and-tear to one new roller, which will have to work twice as hard when paired with an old roller.

Hoping to replace sliding door roller single wheel with tandem

My local repair shop quoted me a replacement with a tandem wheel. My door has a single wheel. I ordered 81-093 which appears to be a virtually identical part and should slide in nicely. From what I can tell, there is plenty of room to slide a longer housing in, like one that would use a tandem wheel ... (cont.)

This roller says GACO 4030H....House was built in 1998 in South Florida. A Swisco rep suggested two items (81-132 and 81-298) but neither picture aligns with what I have. I found a replacement wheel at my Home Depot, Barton-Kramer 461 Crown/Lawson Roller ASSA. Even though the dimensions were correct this replacement had 3 pimples and 1 half pimple on the sides.
