Ryan home p ivot shoe

A quick learner from Ashburn says:
Hello. I also have a Ryan home built in late 1995 with Patriot Series 2000 vinyl single hung windows. I need to replace the broken pivot shoes on at least three of them. I tried to measure the dimensions while the shoe was still in the window track, so may be off a little, but it looked like 2 and 3/32" high x 1 and 1/4" wide x 1/2" thick. Picture is attached. Can you please tell me which one would work?

Also, there are no cutouts in the track to get the broken pivot shoes out, so would either need to make some cutouts or use your Jamb Spreaders - which way would you recommend? If using the Jamb Spreaders, I assume you remove the caulking on the inside where the window meets the drywall so that the inside part of the jamb will flex - is that correct?

Your website is awesome, thanks so much for such detailed information and videos!!

Thanks for writing in, Dave. Our 15-046 pivot shoe should work just fine as a replacement. I am a little concerned with the age of your window. Not being as familiar as a professional regarding your jamb spreader, it's possible you may accidentally crack the frame. I personally suggest using a "cut-out" method when removing your pivot shoe. I have placed a video for you below that may offer additional details.
