S140-10 as a replacement for Certainteed parts

Question

Hello, more specifically, I was looking to see if the S140-10 part replaces something like what appears to be a pivot shoe like 15-192? I am going off of memory but that 15-192 part appears physically to be what's broken in the window now.

Is it possible that the S140-10 kit replaces the balance and shoe that's currently installed, even if they don't look alike?

Hello Aris,

Unfortunately no, they are not interchangeable. The 15-192 measures 7/8" deep and the S140-10 only measures 9/16" deep. We really like the Series 140 system too. Let us know if you need help identifying the needed CertainTeed parts for your repair, we are happy to help.
