S380 Channel Balance

Question

The stamp on the 29" balance is 28 C.

I have identified the required channel balance as a S80-29 with a 2830 option (20 lb window).

The S380 indicates a shoe dimension of 1". My shoe measures 7/8". Does this matter? Or do you have another series number to fit?

Thanks for posting. Very good deductions on your part. This does indeed look like an S380-29, and judging from your provided sash weight, the stamp option of 2830 is correct. However, if the shoe does indeed have a depth of exactly 7/8", rather than 1", you need a custom-built balance with our 15-029 7/8" shoe attached. Double-check that your shoe's depth is indeed 7/8" and no greater.
