Please see attached photos. Note the exterior photos that illustrate a recessed handle(it's broken so I've placed the broken piece in the oval place where it belongs).
It's this outside piece that I need.
It's overall length is 8-1/4" and 1" wide.
Does it come with the handle?
I like the photo that you sent me but I need more dimensions. The 4-15/16" dimension is perfect.
Please look into the outside piece.
Thanks and please stay in touch.

Thanks for contacting us, Mike. My associate tells me they recommended the 82-005 handle set as a replacement. I agree that this looks pretty close to what you have. It comes with everything shown on its product page. You said you needed more dimensions, but I'm not sure exactly what you need. Can you specify what you'd like to know? |
The dimensions I'm looking for are for the outside piece. Please refer to my photo. The oval shaped opening on my door is 13/16" wide and 8" long. Will the 82-005 outside piece cover this opening?
Thank you
Mike

According to my measurements, the 82-005 base is 7-5/16" long and a little under 1-1/8" wide. I'm afraid this is the closest match we have, though. We don't have a similar handle that is 8-1/4" long. |
Thx for checking Tom. The 82-005 will not work. My door must be too old. I'll probably "Mckiver" the old handle.
Many thanks

Ah, that's too bad. I'm sorry we weren't able to find anything closer! Please let us know how your experimentation works out. If you aren't able to get the old handle back on the door, you might want to consider using a flat metal plate cut to size to cover the old hole. That way, you can install something like our 82-005 right to the metal plate. It's not pretty, and obviously not ideal, but it's something to consider. |
Tom
Good idea. Is your last name Mckiver? Ha. I'll give it a shot
Thanks again
Mike

Y'know, my mom always told me I looked like a younger Richard Dean Anderson. Or maybe it was Seth Rogan... In either case, I'm always happy to help, of course. Let us know if you ever need anything else. |
