STANLEY Bi-Fold metal door not sliding
Could you please advise if replacement parts for the bottom pin are available? If so, I’d appreciate your guidance on which parts are needed.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Hello,
Based on your photos, I'd recommend starting by looking over the 23-407 corner block, the 23-113 bottom pivot, and the 23-112 top pivot. Please review the specifications and see how they compare with your original hardware. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the analysis. Could you please confirm if there is the plastic cap is included if I order the pivots pins? I'm not sure if there was a cap for it to slide. Thank you
May I see the top and bottom tracks? That will help us determine any other parts you may need.
Everything shown in your new photos looks fine, except for installing the pivot brackets. Does our 21-174 nylon roll guide match the one used for your tracks? If so, that should be all you need.
Hello,
To further confirm, may I see an end view of the track with dimensions of the inside of the track, where the guide would slide?
Please check these measurements from the bottom..let me know if you need anything else. Thank you
It seems like you might be looking for something like the 23-130 Stanley slide guide. Take a look and see what you think.
Hello,
I talked to my associate for this issue and because Stanley discontinued many of their door parts, it might be wise to go with new tracks that we know will work with the 21-174 roll guide. Look at tracks, 21-450,21-452 & 21-455. The 21-174 roll guide will not work in your track because it doesn't have a groove for it. Again my associate doesn't think the 23-130 will slide in your track and 23-130 is not a Stanley part.
