Sash Balance Assembly

Question

I want to replace the sash balance on my front Alcan sliding windows the clips and springs have broken on either side. The sash balance measures 30 in and the product number stamped on the channels is 2906. I need the product number used for the replacement part.

Welcome to SWISCO. To identify your balance, follow our channel balance guide, checking both plastic ends of your balance to identify your Series.

Then, you need the length of the metal channel and the weight of the sash. The weight of the sash determines your stamp option. You can also post photos and dimension here for us to identify. Let me know if you need anything else.
