Sash coil balance

Question

Hi, I need some assistance on 2 sash UPVC double glazing window balance. I have taken the window out, found the coil torn apart. Each side found 3 separate coil attached. Here I am sending some photo for replacement parts. Window weight approx. 45 lb.

Thanks for writing in! We do not have an exact match for the shoe you have here however, there is a chance that our 15-199 could work as a replacement for you. Compare the dimensions to your existing shoe to determine if this is the right fit.

This shoe is compatible with either the 1/2" thick S160-7 coil spring (we do not have an 8lb coil for this spring, however the 7.5lb coil would work fine as a replacement) or the 3/8" thick S165-8 coil spring. To determine which series you need, you'll need to confirm the thickness of your coil spring.

If there are no stamps on the metal coil, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of your window and divide it by the total number of coils in the window.
