Screen turn clips

Question

Just bought your 70-211 screen turn clips to replace the ones shown here that have now completely disintegrated from age. I can't figure out how to get the old broken pieces out and the new pieces in without damaging the screen frame. Do you have any suggestions?

The 70-211 clip consists of two parts that need to be separated. To do this, you can use a set of pliers or a flat blade screwdriver. When reinstalling, simply snap the parts back together. Keep in mind that you may need to "spread" the frame slightly to insert the "hook" part of the clip into the frame and its corresponding hole. Once the hook is in place, squeeze the frame back together and snap on the turn tab.
