Locks screen on window

The original dohicky to hold the screen in place is made of brittle plastic and many of them broke right away. I bent a paper clip to fit in the hole and that has sort of worked. The one I removed has a broken piece missing from the extension that catches to hold the clip in place once inserted and twisted into place.

Please find the pictures you requested. I’m looking to see if these clips can be found in metal because the clips I currently have either fall out or break and I’m unable to put the screen back in the window. Windows from Lowe's 20+ years agoThis is a swivel type, through the screen frame lock. There is a tab on the back side that is 90 degrees to the front swivel to lock it in when the lever is down.
