Screws for Casement operator

A quick learner from TN says:
I am about to purchase the 39-138 and 39-139. Do they come with mounting screws at all?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Thanks for writing in. The 38-138 & 38-139 do not come with installation screws. It is best to re-use your old screws from the previous operator, if available. While we recommend #10 Phillips, flathead stainless steel, self-tapping screws, the actual length and thread can only really be determined by what was originally used with your window. There really is no one type of screw that might work with an operator, as this depends just as much on the nature of the window where the operator is mounted. You can contact your local hardware store to see if your old screws need to be replaced, or if you need extra screws. Many thanks.
