Searching for 2003 Alliance window springs

Quick Learner

I need replacement spring assembly for a 2003 Alliance window.

Same on both sides of window.

Not sure if this needs to be a

R/L or assembly fits either side

Thanks for posting. This looks like the 15-177 Pivot Shoe, which uses Series 152 Coil Balances. These components work the same for either the left or right side of a window. You'll need to choose specific spring weights for the coil springs you buy. The spring weight designates how much weight each individual coil could support. To know what spring weights to pick, look for stamps on the old coil springs, usually near the tongue. If there are none or you're unsure, give me the exact weight of the window sash these coil springs support, and I can work it out for you.

Finally, you can reuse the old coil spring covers if they're undamaged; otherwise, use the newer style 15-143, 15-144, and 15-145 components for each spring. These sandwich around the springs. Let me know if you have further questions.
