A quick learner says:

We need to replace this piece in our window. The string is wrapped around the pulley and is stuck. It is off track.

Thanks for writing in. Confirm that the metal channel, not including the nylon fittings at either end, is 26" long. If so, see either our S380-26 or S385-26. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. Compare both your old hardware to see what matches best. If you have a stamp code on your metal channel of 2540, then you will need our stamp option of 2540.

A quick learner from Tualatin, oregon says:
We wanted to add more info to our original question. We think we put the wrong stamp so we uploaded more photos. Wondering what you are meaning by the depth of the bottom nylon window shoe.

The diagram below shows how we measure the depth of the bottom attachment and which balance to choose based on that measurement. You'll also need to choose your spring strength option based on either the stamp on the other side of your balance or follow the chart on the balance product page, shown under the product description, to choose the right option based on the weight of your bottom window sash.
