Searching for Balance sssembly

A quick learner says:
Hi I am looking for the silver metal cylinder like sticking out of the side in the second picture and I believe it's called a balance assembly in the first picture.

Thank you

Thanks for posting. It sounds like you're looking for a pivot bar. Remove your old pivot bar and start by comparing it to our 26-226, 26-030, or 26-352. If none of these are a match, show us pictures of your pivot bar out of the window and we'll do our best to find a match. Many thanks.

A landlord from Metro Detroit says:
Thank you for your response. The assembly in the window frame we weren't able to get out as it is attached to a thin piece of metal that goes all the way up the track.

Also, the pin was different from the models you sent. Please advise. Thank you again.

This pivot bar you show us is actually broken. Can you show us an undamaged version from the window?

Also, my deepest apologies: you also asked me to identify the coil balances, and I failed in this regard. You have our 15-177 Pivot Shoe, which uses our Series 152 Coil balances. if you're uncertain what spring weights you need, give us the exact weight of your window sash, and we'll work out what you need.

A landlord from Metro Detroit says:
Thank you so much for assistance, we finally found a whole one. Pics reflect the pivot bar.

The window sashes are 16.1lbs.

Thanks for responding. Perfect. So if your window sash weighs exactly 16 lbs, (2) of the S152-8 8 lb Coil Springs will work for you. You would use one on either side of the sash, to total that 16 lbs of needed support. Your pivot bar looks a lot like our 26-226, but just go over the dimensions to compare. Let me know if you need anything else.
