Searching for Bsi 2240

A quick learner says:

The 2240 marking doesn't tell you what balance to get, but it does impart some information. 2240 usually belongs to a 23" balance with a "2240" stamp option. However, you'll need to double check. To get the Series, you can go through our channel balance guide.

A handy person from Palm Harbor Flroida says:

I would like to replace the balances on my Nuair window. The only marking I see is 2240. Can you help? Thank you

Your top sash guide is broken which is what caused your window balance to shoot up pass your sash. Most Nuair windows, similar to what you have, were able to use the 18-178 top sash guides. Look over the measurement specifications to see if they line up with yours. If you should need help on how these are repaired, look at the media guide on this page for assistance.

As for your balance, the S385-33 with a 2240 option should work for you. Review it just to be 100% sure this is the correct balance.
