Thank you for posting. It looks like you have an older version of the Series 795 balance that had a groove in the bottom. Unfortunately, this version is not made anymore and the only option is to replace the whole balance. I see you ordered our 15-195, but that will not work, since it does not have that groove. It will not fit in the metal channel. You should consider replacing the whole balance.

You may also want to double check the total width of the shoe. Yours looks like it might be smaller than the 15-195, which has a 1-1/4" width. Please confirm before you purchase anything else.
