Several broken parts

Question

We had an old plastic insert where all of the parts basically failed simultaneously. Both pins broke off. The locking guides that hold the pins broke. And the safety latch broke.

Thanks for posting! The assembly you have here is a Simonton window coil balance assembly. It has been discontinued and is no longer available but the good new is that our 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe used along with the Series 159 Coil Balance should work to replace it. Take a look at the video tutorial below for a detailed explanation on this conversion.

Your existing pivot bar will not be compatible with the shoe so you'll need to replace it with the 26-083 Pivot Bar.
