Shoe brake/pivot?

Thanks for posting. This Simonton pivot shoe is no longer made. The Certainteed 15-192 is very similar, but customers report it does not fit the Simonton window track properly. You may be able to circumvent this by rubbing down the 'alignment nubs' on the face of the shoe--but there's no guarantee this will work, and note that modified items cannot be returned for refunds. 

We do have another solution: the 15-259 Pivot Shoe can replace the old Simonton shoe. However you will also have to replace the existing coil balance system in the window with the Series 159. The video below explains more.
