Silverline Casement window

Question

I think the 39-316 Truth operator may work on my Silverline Casement window, but the dimension for the second arm is 5" on the Truth operator. My current operator (about twenty years old) is 4" so I am wondering if yours will work? Edmund Anderson. Thanks

Thanks for posting! To be quite honest, having such a longer arm might cause issues. You could theoretically adjust the bracket on the sash to make up the difference, but 1" is a lot and you may not have the clearance for it to work.

I'll need to see photos of the operator and bracket, as it appears on the sash. This will allow me to advise further on the best possible replacement solution.
