Attached are images of my channel parts. Picture 2799 shoes the shoe (your 15-195B) installed. In my installation, what you call the top is my bottom. The metal loop is on the top secured in a balance stop. Thanks!

Hello,
Your photos resemble the S795 channel balance and the 15-195B. This balance assembly is designed to use the screw tab at the end of the pulley to attach the balance channel to the top of the window jamb. You would need to swap out the 15-195 shoe that comes with the S795 with the 15-195B T-lock shoes that are sold separately by following the video below.
The 26 1 stamp code may correlate to the 26A strength option for the S795-26 but I would recommend confirming that your window sash falls within the 6-11 lbs range supported by this strength option. Thank you!
