Silverline tilt window

A quick learner from Lakewood, Nj says:
The pivot at the bottom of my widows is totally rusted out. The window comes right out of the window frame. Can they be replaced? What is the part number? I will also need to replace the shoes and balances. The house was built in 1999. Thank you

It sounds like you might have a pivot bar, but I'm not sure what type you may have. There are a ton of different kinds, which you can see here

Do you have an undamaged version? Maybe on the other side of the window, or an identical window in the house? If so, we can use that as a reference.

Here are some pictures of the window. I need the part that comes out of the window and goes into the pivot. I may also need the pivot and the balance springs. Thank you

Yep, that's a pivot bar. It's tough to tell what you have from these photos but it might be a match for our 26-040. Start with this and carefully review our information to confirm if this will work in your window.

I'm happy to help with the pivot shoe and spiral balance, as well. For the pivot shoe, I will need to know how thick your original is. For the spiral balance, I need the diameter of the outer tube.

These pictures don't really tell me anything new. Your next step should be to look at our dimensions and pictures on the 26-040 store page to determine whether or not this matches your original pivot bar. If you don't think it will, tell me why and we can work from t  here.

A quick learner from Lakewood, Nj says:
The pivot bars are totally rusted and don't come out. I will order one and drill the old one out. If it works I'll order the rest. Do you have any other suggestions?

Tom from SWISCO responded:

At this point, no. The 26-040 is my best guess. If that doesn't work then we can cross that bridge when we get there. I would need to know more about the original pivot bar before I can recommend anything else.
