Simontin double hung window won't stay open-slams down

This is what is on the label on the window.

There is a silver coil in track at bottom of the window.

I'm lost on where to begin on getting this repaired- any help is appreciated!

As far as I know, the information you provided wouldn't identify the coil. There are many different types of these, and replacements are identified visually. You can see all our coils here: https://www.swisco.com/cl/Replacement-Sash-Support-Coil-Balances

dont know how to do that - was hoping you could hook me up with the correct coil number- thanks anyways will have to try to find someone else to ask
