Our windows are 15 years old. The cover to the window assembly on two of our windows was installed in a location where it is exposed to sunlight. I included a picture of the broken one(just crumbled in pieces), two have done this. And a picture of one that has not crumbled. I also included a picture of the installation sticker to help identify the windows.
Is this a part you have and we can purchase from you?

Simonton/Norandex are constantly changing their balance systems, which is likely why ABC is having a hard time getting the balance coil cover for you. We have a similar twin coil balance cover, our 15-204, but it will only work with 3/8" thick coil springs. How thick are yours?

Yes our coils are 3/8" thick. This system is 15 years old - or at least our condo is, and these were installed at that time. I saw another discussion thread dated April of this year from Saginaw, Michigan that showed the same cover we have. Do you know if the 15-204 you recommended also to him worked? His original cover is exactly the same as ours.
One other question - our current one has two screws holding it in place and the one you are recommending only has one screw at the bottom. Can I assume that works the same? And it fits for two coils?

I'm sorry, we had a lot of discussions in April this year, I cannot find the exact one you're talking about. However if the customer did not post in the thread he likely did not get back to us. We have detailed measurements of the 15-204 on our site, though, which you can look over for extra confirmation.
Yes, the 15-204 only installs with one screw but should work the same way as yours. It is meant for two coils.
