Simonton Prism Window

Question

Hello-my window won't stay up anymore, and I can see that the metal spring and the plastic rocker at the bottom are broken. I don't know about the plastic box at the top. I know it's best to replace the parts on both sides. Which parts do you think I need? Thank you for your help.

Thanks for reaching out to us! Your Simonton coil shoe is no longer available and we aren't sure that it is made any longer. The good news is the 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe and its compatible hardware should work for your repairs. Take a look at the video tutorial for a more detailed explanation on this conversion.

This shoe is compatible with the Series 159 Coil Balance. You'll need to look for a stamp on the coil or obtain the exact sash weight to determine which coils you'll need for the replacement assemblies.
