Simonton Widow Balance Shoe

Question

I have Simonton windows, 5500 Reflections double hung, that were installed in 2013. The window balance shoe part started breaking in half several years ago. I need to get replacement parts. Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for posting! The exact replacement for your Simonton coil shoe is no longer made but we're fairly confident the 15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe will work in its place. The existing pivot bar will not be compatible with this shoe, so you'll also need the 26-083 Pivot Bar.

The compatible coil spring is the Series 159 Coil Balance. To determine the correct springs for the replacements, you'll need to look for a stamp/marking on the coils. If there are none, please see the video tutorial (tagged below) for instructions on selecting the correct coil weight option.
