Hello. I have a two story colonial full of similar windows, purchased before our ownership of the home. Within the past two years nearly every window has begun to fall apart. Most common failure is the plastic pivot shoe carrier(?) splitting in two. Followed by the pivot arms snapping. I am in desperate need of a parts source and confirmation that these components can be replaced. We do not have central air (built 1973, hydronic baseboard heat), so proper window operator is essential in the summer. Thank you!

Hi Kipp, thank you for posting!
It appears you have an older Simonton balance assembly that is no longer made. We recommend converting to the 15-259 pivot shoe along with the Series 159 coil springs. Please review the step by step video below that details the conversion and additional parts needed. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
