Simonton Window Parts

A home owner from Michigan says:
Please help identify the parts I need to order. The tag on the windows shows they are from Norandex and are Simonton windows. The bottom moves up and down and the top is stationary. On two windows both covers or supports for the spring or coils are cracked--one window far worse than the other--but the springs or coils still are working. The covers are just shy of 4 inches long. Should I order new supports only or will I need coils as well? Which ones and is it the same or different parts for right and left? Also, the window tilt latches are broken on two windows. Without the projecting part they are about 2 3/4 inches long. What is the part number and do they come in right/left pairs? Thanks

Paul from SWISCO responded:

We have known customers with Simonton windows use the 26-243 and 26-244 top tilt latches. If the coil springs are fine and the sashes are operating, then I would just replace the covers. Your dual cover looks like the 15-204 that is used for 3/8" coil springs. Take a look and see if this is a match with your part.
