Simonton Window Parts

Question

Please see attached pictures. I need to replace the pictured parts. I've included the Simonton window label if that helps. I also need a pair of jam spreaders that are show on the included Simonton video. Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Take a look and compare the specifications of the 15-199 pivot shoe to yours, which uses either the Series 160 or Series 165 coils depending on the width of your original springs.

Once you determine the correct coils, there should be numbers stamped on the coil springs that will determine the corresponding strength options for your replacements.

We also recommend following the cutout method shown below for this type of repair. We only recommend jamb spreaders for professionals who do these repairs regularly since they are quite expensive and are not eligible to be returned. Thanks for posting!
